We had an incredible stay at Monument Cottage. Tranquil with lots of outdoor space to explore. It was wonderful to arrive with the fire on and a welcome basket of food waiting for us. Thank you so much for making it a memorable holiday, Our family would love to stay again.

We loved staying at Monument cottage. The location was very secure and private. We enjoyed walks in the woods and the views to the sea that open up few mins away from the house. The house was very well equipped and we had everything to cook home made meals and a Christmas dinner. There was abundance of logs for the fire and a generous welcome pack. The rooms are large and comfortable. Thanks Sharon for hospitality and hope to be back some day.

Always a quiet peaceful time, friendly hosts, and comfortable. We love staying out of any town but still reasonably close to our daily destinations.

The location is stunning, you feel like you're in the middle of the countryside, with stunning views in the grounds of an historic monument - but just 10 mins from the main road, beach, villages, supermarkets etcThe interior is gorgeous, spotless, comfortable and has everything you could need plus a lovely welcome basket and decorated for Christmas too. Sharon was lovely and very helpful and on hand if we needed anything - Perfect!

A perfect cottage for six people with everything you need to enjoy your stay. It is in a wooded area just a few minutes from Carnoustie, though you'll need a car to get to shopping and to get around. The owners are helpful and knowledgeable about the history of the estate which includes the fascinating 1838 monument to the Baron Panmure for his kindness to his tenants for suspending rents due during harsh agricultural times.

Really lovely property in the heart of Angus. Many things to do. Walking around the Reservoir at Crombie was a lovely early morning 4km walk. The hosts were really friendly and helpful. At this site, you are at easy travelling distance to many places (I.e. Dundee, Glamis Casle, St Andrew's etc). Enjoy and thank you!
